After doing a bunch of work, I headed back out for a ride. I had to take a bit of the mountain to get to the trail, but next time I might just drive over to the trail head.
The mountain was steep in parts and it was annoying. At one point I did wipe out. No damage, just annoyed.
As usual, even with an app, I was all over different trails. They just aren’t marked at every fork. Once I get a sense of direction I should be fine.
It was a much longer ride because I could never find a river crossing. Finally I just cut back through town. It would up being an 18 mile ride. It would’ve been a bit longer, but I couldn’t even anymore. I walked my bike the last 2-3 blocks uphill to my place. And, I shit you not, the song on shuffle right before that was actually Elton John’s Someone Saved My Live Tonight. I couldn’t believe it. For most of the ride I listed to The Guess Who. (Anthology)
