Welcome

Spartan life in 3…2…1….

One nice thing about this trip has been seeing how little I actually need.  Things, that is.  I don’t need as many clothes as I have.  I don’t need as many books, documents, junk that I have at home.  I don’t need as many kitchen gadgets and tools (OK, I’m not getting rid of those things, just saying I don’t need them).  This place is furnished and the kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils.  When I’m home I’m not getting rid of a dresser or couch or anything, but I will go room by room, drawer by drawer, and toss out anything I don’t need or use on a regular basis.

It might mean I’m left with a computer, guitars, half as many clothes, and no junk.  Good. Just all the crap that accumulates over years you just don’t need or use.   I’m already looking forward to it.

So, if my wife is reading this and wants to complete her winter cleaning, feel free to throw out pretty much anything still left at the house.  (not my Sorel boots, guitar/bass, though).  Pretty much, toss anything else.  Coats, clothes, books, everything should go!
