This weekend my wife came out for a visit. She arrived late Thursday night and left early this morning. We had a great time (at least I did). We skied each day. Friday and Saturday we didn’t go too long, but Sunday we spent all morning there. She took a lesson while I skied around.
Friday night we ordered pizza and watched the Blackhawks game (kind of our thing). Saturday night we had “date night.” First stop…axe throwing. Don’t mess with my wife! After that, we went to Rooster’s for dinner.
On Sunday, as mentioned, we skied all morning. In the afternoon we drove into Salt Lake City and drove around a bit. We saw the State Capitol and walked around Temple Square. We then drove out to Park City to look around. My wife is not fully onboard (more than me, actually) with buying a house out here. We were looking at neighborhoods around Park City. We found a nice location with some nice vacation properties. We’ll get in contact with a real estate agent and start looking around. Probably come out here in summer to look at houses. We aren’t in a rush.
Last night we got burgers from Craft Burger and watched the Blackhawks game. The best I can say if both games we had good food (Hawks are 0-3 and gave up 5 goals in each game…brutal season on tap).
Today I went for a run and will probably go for a walk this afternoon. Can’t decide if I want to hike in Canyon Trail or just walk around. Either way, all good. I also got all my work prepped for the week ahead so it will be a nice relaxing day.
