I’m trying to make the most of my last weeks of summer break. Mostly that means sleeping in, exercising, taking the dog to the park, watching Korean TV shows, cooking, and generally not doing anything. Today I did start doing some work though. Not much.
At the moment, I just finished goofing off with a guitar and now I’m listening to martini lounge music before I read for a bit.
Last night we went on some friends’ boat for a bit. I’ve lived here my whole life without ever being on a boat in the Playpen, but last night that streak ended. To be fair, we only stayed about 10 minutes. Not my scene. I’d say I’m old, but that place was never my scene.
The rest of the week I have no plans. Just hang out at home and do nothing to the extreme. When work starts again and I’m annoyed (as usual) with the rock pushing (see: Sisyphus), I want to know I made the most (or least really) out of my down time. I didn’t waste a minute by not wasting a minute.
That’s it other than to say: It’s great to be alive.
